As Al-Nassr win the Arab Champions Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo hurts his leg and is carried off the field.

Al-Nassr win

Al-Nassr participated in the Arab Champions Cup final and won over Al-Hilal on Saturday before beginning their league campaign against Al-Ettifaq on Monday, August 14. While Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to lead the club to a 2-1 victory and the trophy, it wasn't all joy for the team as the superstar had to be carried off after getting hurt.

Ronaldo left the game in the 115th minute of action, crying as he was carried away. Midfielder Ali Alhassan took his place. Even with Sadio Mane joining the attack, the extent of the injury is now unknown, but it's a serious setback to Al-Nassr. There is cause for hope for Ronaldo's fans because, even after leaving the game, he continued to participate in the trophy celebration by dancing.

Al-Nassr, who finished second to Al-Ittihad last season, will try everything in their power to win the Saudi Pro League this year, which would be much more difficult if Ronaldo is sidelined for an extended period of time. Next month also brings Euro qualifying games for the Portuguese national team.

With Karim Benzema joining Al-Ittihad and Roberto Firmino already scoring three goals in his first game for Al-Ahli, the race for the championship and the Golden Boot will be fierce this year. After scoring six goals during the competition before leaving with a leg injury, the Saudi Arabian team will now need to assess the extent of Ronaldo's injuries.
